Monday 6/8
Went over bits of information needed to do quiz #4 and the necessity of reserving some time in class to check this quiz while sitting at a computer. Went over remaining schedule and quickly reviewed the requirements of the final project. Work time on final project. Heard #5. (May ask next time if anyone has a #6 for me.)
Tuesday 6/9
First five class presentations completed — no absences. As expected, they took longer than we planned, and we talked about the need to tighten up the presentations going forward. Primarily a work day on the final project. Some people may want to show me #6, which can be completed as part of the final project. Reminders about deadlines. Explained that I will not require class to show me an assignment #6, with the acceptable alternative being to include the main material from assignment #6 somewhere within the final project.

Collected and reviewed quiz #3. Reminded that quiz #4 is due at the next class. Perhaps only 4-5 students have completed #6, but they have been urged to continue on to the final project, perhaps including features in that work that show that they can do the requirements of #6, too.. Monday 3/9
Previewed quiz #4 (which is due on Wednesday) for students who had questions. Assessed assignment #5. Told students that they have the option of showing my #6 on Wednesday or showing me how they incorporate it into the final project. Went over schedule for the remainder of the term, with special attention to making sure that everyone understands when the final exam session is. Work time on projects and suggested at least starting on final project today.
Update: Heard only some of #5 on my quick assessment — the first 2 1/2 rows.

- Did a very quick and basic explanation of how to rewire the Reason mix audio output into the Logic mixer.
- Went over the final project, including the modifications to make it a Reason-only project this quarter with the inclusion of Logic being optional.
- Very little work time on final project
- Explained that I will not require class to show me an assignment #6, with the acceptable alternative being to include the main material from assignment #6 somewhere within the final project.
- At next session if there is a bit of extra time show how to wire individual Reason instruments into Logic. (Perhaps make this an optional topic that only those who are interested will be expected to hear.)

(Peer evaluation and student evaluation conducted during this session. 22 students present during eval visit – one or two came in latre. Visit was 10:45 until 11:45 during which I reviewed final project requirements and then presented the third electronic music topic. At 11:45 or so I left the room for the student evaluation survey.)
